I’ve been fascinated with Real Estate for as long as I can remember – in fact, you could say it’s in my blood. I have family members in the business across the country, and knew early on that being a realtor was the career for me. I feel truly blessed - when you love what you do, the days fly by, with rarely a dull moment.
Life as a broker allows me the opportunity to interact with fantastic clients, and create lasting relationships. But I love the entire process; from viewing new properties to negotiating with attorneys. It is important to me that my clients have faith in me – not simply as an agent to show or list homes, but as their partner and expert for the entire real estate process.
I grew up in Minnesota, and studied at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. From there I moved to Wisconsin, and immediately joined a top producing real estate team. I specialized in selling lakefront property in ‘Lake Country’, and it was during this period that I met my husband Brian, and decided to move to Chicago.
We fed off the energy in the city, and the unique culture that defines each and every one of its neighborhoods. But after several years and two kiddos, we started looking for the perfect suburb to settle in. Looking for an urban feel mixed with a great sense of community, we found it all La Grange. It will always be my center, but I love helping people buy and sell homes throughout the city and any of its western suburbs.
Outside of real estate, I am proud to be a wife and mom. My free time is spent either in the yoga studio, or in trying (with varying degrees of success) to become a scratch golfer! But in the end, nothing compares to the feeling of placing a SOLD rider on a sign in front of a new home, and the ecstatic look on the faces of my clients as I hand them their keys. A new chapter in their lives begins in that very moment, and I feel blessed for the opportunity to help them turn that page.
